Riverwood Contracting started out in Rome and the surrounding areas doing small jobs like New Fences, Decks, and Small Remodels. It has always been the goal to move on to Custom Homes. Now that we have established the trade base and strategic partners necessary to responsibly take on those bigger jobs that is our primary focus. That being said I do get enjoyment out of the quick small jobs like replacing porch steps and doing small repair work. It gives me an opportunity to get in the field and engage with more customers, and it provides training opportunities for our crew.

Detached Garages are a popular upgrade for any home. Maybe you actually need the extra parking space, or maybe you have run out of space for the clearance Christmas items you keep buying the day after Christmas planning on really “wowing” the neighbors next year. Maybe you have convinced your wife that if you had a garage to work in you could buy the tools to make that dining table you promised you’d build her last year for her birthday. Regardless, we are happy to help you with a new detached garage. We can also help you design your garage to convert to an accessory dwelling units, or ADU, for those kids who aren’t really ever planning on moving out.
You know what really separates your farmhouse from all the other farmhouses on the block? Goats! you know what goats need? A new barn. If I am not working on a construction project, I’m likely getting a goats head out of the fence or turning a water trough back over. Don’t just live vicariously through YouTube and Instagram farmers, become one! In all seriousness we love our animals and understands the various needs you may have for your barn or other outbuildings. We have done woods sheds, car ports (like a barn for your car), storage buildings and the like.
